.SPX: A W-4 will Bring SPX to Sub-6800

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 MPW Mid-Week Update Posted: (1) did some chart-review & soul-searching after the last three sessions of "shock & awe" operation. (2) I believe the market has shown its hand--to accommodate, I will refrain from day-trading until mid-May. 2 Enough is enough. Short it here with $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ 690 puts, expire 4/17. An ending diagonal of a w-5 is almost complete at 7000 level, which is also heavy resistance zone from previous ATH. This is not the top of this bullish run, only the top of W-3. A W-4 will bring SPX to sub-6800

.SPX: The Unavoidable Loophole of a "Rational Trader"

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 The Unavoidable Loophole of a "rational trader": (1) the following $S&P 500(.SPX)$ Daily roadmap was posted to MPW subs on Apirl 4th, in Scroll 218. (2) I had two options for SPX, Black path is primary wave count & Blue path is alternate. (3) However, in retrospect, I made a mistake here by being too rational. BLUE is the right path. Why? (4) I read a lot of reflections from bulls and bears about the ongoing, insane, irrational melt-up rise. All in all, I believe this is a perfectly fitting "exclamation mark" to an insanely long and over-extended BULL MARKET from March 2009. The giant clock of market God is ticking toward the finish line and yeah, time is

SPY: A Very Slim Chance to Fill the Large Gap

Market Review: $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ (1) the opening gap down was so small and short-lived, which already cast doubt on the ultra-bearish theory. (2) as I noted a few days ago--"if 6800 is broken to the upside, then it would signal a large W-3" to ATH. It looks like that will be the case now. (3) I have updated my primary count in Bamboo Scroll #219, posted to SUBS on April 11th, which already adopted this new roadmap. That was posted before the failed negotiation. (4) short-term, today's run is indeed wild and a bit unexpected--I was stopped out half of my 4/20 675 puts BE; & re-entered again mid-day near 6860 zone. (5) the last hour's squeeze-higher only appears in two spots: either the 3rd of 3rd of a bullish leg,

SPY: Buddha Smile W-C to 6800

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 Buddha Smile W-C to 6800: $S&P 500(.SPX)$ (1) a large zigzag from 6316 low has formed; now, it is the sideway w(4) of W-C, which will probably extend to Friday to resolve. (2) if breaking 6800 to the upside--which I DOUBT, that would signal a large W-3, rather than a corrective W-C. 2 6812--that should be it [My target range]. Buying 4/20 SPY 675 puts and will keep radio silent till next Monday. GLTA. .SPX: 6600 Strong Resistance

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 6600 strong resistance: $S&P 500(.SPX)$ (1) geopolitical conflicts aside, the market is sitting on a confluence zone near 6600-6620. (2) it has to make a decision soon--probably coinciding with Trump's presser at 1:00pm. (3) my vote is DOWN, to form a flat w-b; or worse, a larger W(B) for W-[2] For SG users only, Welcome to open a CBA today and enjoy access to a trading limit of up to SGD 20,000 with unlimited trading on SG, HK, and US stocks, as well as ETFs. 🎉Cash Boost Account Now Supports 35,000+ Stocks & ETFs – Greater Flexibility Now Find out more here. SPY: Next Monday's Low Would Be a Good Entry for LONG

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 6480--here we are! $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ 1, told you that I loaded my small option day-trading account with 4/6 & 4/10 SPY puts--I drew the roadmap ystdy, and told you where I entered the trade. 2, will set up trailing stop and hard stop at open--most likely an "easy double"--as I used to say. GLTA Busy Trading Session: (1) a trending day with key levels to watch; (2) will get to my 6450 zone mid-day, and expect a small rebound in last hour or so; (3) the long weekend may usher in a totally different war picture--ground troop joining the conflict, will keep some 4/6 puts. Out of HALF positions at open with trailing stops. Added some 0dtx SPY puts

.SPX: Quarter-ending Window Dressing Goes Extreme

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 Quarter-ending Window Dressing Goes Extreme: $S&P 500(.SPX)$ (1) this huge rebound has nothing to do with reality; but has everything to do with bond-re-adjustment; (2) so far, only 3-wave off the low at 6316; also, THE BLACK TRENDLINE should be respected, at least short-term. SHORT at 6540 2 Beauty of EWT: (1) While fintwit is filled with comments of the "biggest bull trap" and "dead-cat bounce," I saw the beauty of a classic 5-wave up with an extended 1st wave. (2) it is a pure beauty--if true--then tmrw, a zigzag retrace would take SPX to at least 6455 mid-day. For SG users only, Welcome to open a CBA today and enjoy access to a trading limit of up to SGD

.SPX: 6440 Will Be Retested AGAIN

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 Green Path: $S&P 500(.SPX)$ (1) large gap-up to open the last trading sessions of March, as well as first quarter. (2) 6440 will serve as a MAJOR resistance and I think it will stop today's rebounds. (3) also, the hand-pointed trendline would serve as strong support--btw, gap-fill is possible. As expected, the LARGE opening gap is alomst closed. Now, large chopping sideway moves btw 6440 and 6360; Nimble traders would make money by trading both ways. 6388 PIN: (1) dragged by two forces between 6440 and 6360, there won't be any breakthrough today. (2) I would bet that SPX closes near 6388, with chopping moves in-between for the next four hours. (3) will tra

      .SPX Faces the Crossroad Now?

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 The Year of Firy Horse (1966 vs. 2026) --first chart is DJI weekly chart from 1965-1967 --second chart is DJI weekly chart from 2025-2027 --third chart is a comparison. [BTW, this comparison & roadmap was presented to MPW Bamboo Scroll subs on Dec. 20th, 2025, in Scroll #203]. 2 "No Country for Slow Traders": (1) if you don't know how to properly set up stops and place fewer than 20 trades per day, stay away from the current market. (2) to SUBs: my 30-min roadmap didn't draw the path for a prolonged bottoming process, which is possible too--see below. For SG users only, Welcome to open a CBA today and enjoy access to a trading limit of up to SGD 20,000 with unlimited trading on SG, HK, and US stocks, as well as ETFs.

.SPX: This Type and Structure is CRASHY

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you! 1 $S&P 500(.SPX)$Indeed, "gap down and touch 6430" -- the target that I marked on the chart for some time. There is a lower gap-fill level at 6410; however, if SPX does go that low, then 6400 will likely be broken in a fast flash. In any case, BULLS need to fill today's opening gap, otherwise... 2 Keep it Simple: 1, the 6410 gap was closed--by two points. 2, no impulsive upward moves so far--pay attention to the downward trendline. First task for bulls to conquer. 3, IF TODAY'S opening gap can NOT be filled by the end of day, then next Monday is leaning bearish too. 3 Seriously, this type and structure is CRASHY. Bulls have about 40-min to turn the ship, otherwi
