**Newbie's Guide to Investing** TL;DR Make more money for investing by cutting back on unnecessary spending and using affordable alternatives, using cashback to earn on necessary spends and investing in CPF or SRS to save on taxes. $Visa(V)$   Investing can seem overwhelming—too complicated, too expensive, or simply out of reach. I know the feeling because I was once in that position. However, after nearly two years of research and practice, I've gained a solid understanding of how to approach investing while addressing these common concerns. This guide breaks down three fundamental steps to make investing more accessible: 1. Cutting costs to free up more money for investment 2. Creating a cash reserve strategy 3. Investing in index funds f

$STLA 20250321 15.0 CALL$   My mistake last time was selling too longa a dated call so I even held the risk of the stock going above strike and me losing out on profit. But now I decided to do a shorter strike, and wait for the stock to drop again and roll. I'll update on how this goes.

$Hershey(HSY)$ (HERSHEY, A GREAT AMERICAN COMPANY) I bought some Hershey because I believe it is a solid long term investment, due to the fact that the company has decent management in a competitive sector, and the stock has been oversold. However Hershey does face quite a few struggles; price volatility, supply chain disruptions, and sustainability concerns. While all these things make such a company a potentially risky investment. I particularly like the way Hershey has gone about handling them 1. Pricing Strategies Incremental Price Increases: Hershey has adjusted product prices to offset rising cocoa costs while balancing consumer demand. Premium Product Offerings: The company has introduced higher-margin premium and specialty choc

$TIGR 20250221 7.0 PUT$   Decided to take profit, it was a 9 day contract so I could have waited, but I think sometimes in trading we have to learn not to be too greedy or at least follow and stick to our own investment philosophies.  I have a lot of stocks I missed out by taking profit too early or not enough profit. Like I sold CHEWY at 16 dollars would you believe it? But anyways 50% is good enough for me, maybe I'll re-enter at another junction but for now this is the profit I'm more than happy to take. If it falls more I wouldn't even mind missing ou on that profit.

$TIGR 20250221 7.0 PUT$   I like tiger stock, while I may not be 100% okay with the price I don't mind holding the shares of this company, so I'm selling puts to collect premium, if I get assigned, that's okay, just hold the stock and sell calls. If anyone out there knows any other stocks that they like to sell options on, do let me know

$Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$  Don't stress, just maintain. Keep your DCA to a price you can afford so that even when the stock is in a downturn, you don't think, dang it, you will instead think "It's okay, it isn't much money anyways. I'll just hold."  @TigerWire  @Optionspuppy

$Sing Inv & Fin(S35.SI)$   This is one of the first stocks I researched. Back when it was 99 cents I did a DCF calculation that put its fair value at $1.20 . But at the time I thought another company would do better $Valuetronics(BN2.SI)$ , so I put all my money into that stock but soon realised the mistake I had made. Valuetronics wasn't the best 2nd hand electronic retailer in its sector. However I firmly believe that in the financing and credit sector, Sing Invest beats out its local rivals, so after selling Valuetronics at a so-so profit. I bought Sing Invest which had gone up due to ex div date coming up. At 1.04 cents and the stock dipped after paying dividends but quickly returne

$STLA 20250919 14.0 CALL$   MISTAKES WERE MADE. Evtnhough my plan was to sell calls on this stock to profit off sideways movement. It was a good plan but again I forgot to time correctly.  Selling options is bad when then the implied volatility rises and I didn't take into account the upcoming earnings report for $Stellantis NV(STLA)$ . I sold a call around 13.20 which in the past, stellantis was bouncing between 13.30 and 12.50. But with earnings come up, Mr Market has decided he wants to bet big on Stellantis, and with such a low PE, who could blame him? While I always believed in the long term profitability of this stock, I assumed the short term would continue to g
