Vitalik Buterin: Synchronous atomic composability is overrated

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on social media that in my opinion, synchronous atomic composability is overrated. For example, think about some specific things you are doing or envisioning doing across L2 that can be more seamless. The two most important things for me are: 1.
