Many Would Be Envious Of Spark New Zealand's Excellent Returns On Capital

$Spark New Zealand Limited(SPK.NZ)$ $Spark New Zealand(SPK.AU)$ $S&P/NZX 50(NZ50G.NZ)$ $S&P/NZX 50(NZ50C.NZ)$ If you're not sure where to start when looking for the next multi-bagger, there are a few key trends you should keep an eye out for. That's why when we briefly looked at Spark New Zealand's (NZSE:SPK) ROCE trend, we wer

$Lucid Group Inc(LCID)$ Bad news keeps coming for Lucid -- and it's not even earnings day yet! Lucid began contacting owners of its first batch of delivered Lucid Air luxury electric cars to advise them of an impending recall, reports Teslarati. "Lucid has determined that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 2022 Lucid Air vehicles," said the company, and specifically, "front strut dampers that may have been manufactured by the supplier with the snap ring installed in the wrong orientation." The defective parts "may result in sudden loss of ground clearance, vehicle vibration, and front brake line damage, increasing the risk of a crash." Lucid has only been delivering Airs for about four months, and it's already run into

$Intel(INTC)$ Intel will be one node ahead of competitors in 2023. Yes, that's right. As per respectable EEtimes, it will not only be ahead but has huge plans:“Intel is engaged with TSMC on N3 for its next-generation graphic processors (GPUs) in 2023, and the ramp plans here look bigger than we first thought. This is a material engagement,” he says.Intel’s GPU rivals include Nvidia and others. GPUs are not a product area that Intel has addressed historically.“We thought they would go slow, but the ramp plans for GPUs look to be over 10K wafers per month. That signals Intel will be a node ahead of GPU rivals next year,” according to one analyst surveyed, who asked for anonymity. With recent problems in securing additional N3 supply by AMD/others, it wi

$Upstart Holdings, Inc.(UPST)$ From Barron's: “Along with continued share gain momentum in personal loans, we think there’s a lot more to come on the auto ramp (bank partners, rooftop growth)… the momentum narrative looks to be well-intact,” Citi said in a research note. Citi has a price target on the stock of $350.As for the buyback, Chief Financial Officer Sanjay Datta said, “With the volatility in the trading of our stock, we have seen what we believe to be attractive buying conditions at various times over the past year, and our profitability puts us in a position to be able to initiate this program and take advantage of those situations on behalf of our shareholders.”BULLISH.

$Upstart Holdings, Inc.(UPST)$ I don't post that often but when I do it's to help people here understand what's actually happening. Upstar is not a fad, rather it is a paradigm shift away from an archaic lending model that hasn't kept up with modern economic trends in loan originations. Financial institutions benefit greatly because of risk mitigation and reduced overhead. Borrowers benefit from lower rates, and goods and service providers benefit from increased sales. The POC is done, UPST profits are minimal compared to the addressable market, and investors that apply traditional metrics in evaluating this company are doomed to be left behind.

If you haven't worked with ROCE before, it measures the 'return' (pre-tax profit) a company generates from capital employed in its business. Analysts use this formula to calculate it for
