5月27日，部分中概教育股走高樸新教育漲超29%，高途漲超5%，好未來微漲0.04%，此前該板塊因一則網傳消息遭遇重挫。
5月24日，有媒體報道，北京市海淀區教委即將出臺「雙減」政策，最晚於7月底，將針對校外培訓機構進行明確規定。網傳「雙減」政策落地後，校外機構將面臨「三不」——不得在假期上課、學科類及素質類培訓機構不得上市、教育培訓機構不得大肆進行宣傳。此後海淀區教委發佈澄清聲明表示，網傳「北京市海淀區教委開會，教育機構暑期不許開課」的消息不屬實，其聊天內容繫個人分析和推測，並非海淀區教委官方發佈。
