Apple & the secret 9:41am time
If you watched Apple's WWDC 2023 keynote presentation yesterday, you would have noticed that Apple's device time always showed 9:41am on all its products. This is also the same in launch posters and advertisements, an iPhone, iPad or a MacBook Air always displayed 9:41am.
The answer had to do with Steve Jobs, and his very carefully crafted product launch presentations. They keynotes are designed such that the big product reveal would conincide around 40 minutes into the event. But at times, it was not easy to get in exactly in 40 minutes, so it would be better to be early, and when the audience looked at their watches, the time would close to the actual time at 9:41am. During the first iPhone launch at MacWorld 2007, Steve Jobs practiced his presentation such that he when he turned on the phone's screen, the time would show 9:41am. And ever since then, all Apple's product launch photos and posters always showed 9:41am.
With an exception of course, the Apple Watch always showed 10:09am, because when displayed on an analog face, the hour hand is slightly past 10 and minute hand a bit before 2, creates a pleasing symmetrical shape.
On another note, Apple hit an all time high of $184.95 on Monday.

The MacBook Air is the latest version of Apple's most popular laptop. It is thinner and lighter than the previous model, and it features the M2 chip.
The M2 chip is the next generation of Apple's custom-designed silicon. It is based on the same 5nm process as the M1 chip, but it has more cores and more memory bandwidth.
WWDC 2023 was a major event for Apple. The company announced a number of new software and hardware products, and it showed that it is still innovating at a rapid pace.
