Microsoft is seen as a leader in the adoption of AI technology in the software industry owing to its huge investment in OpenAI, the San Francisco-based startup that owns the widely popular chatbot ChatGPT. Microsoft's shares closed up 3.2 percent at $348.10 per share on Thursday. A total number of 884.8K options related to $Microsoft(MSFT)$ stock was traded, of which call options accounted for 64%. A particularly high trading volume was seen for the $350 strike call options expiring June 16, with a total number of 54,739 option contracts trading on Thursday. In addition, $Apple Inc(AAPL)$ shares also achieved a record high close of $186.01 on Thursday, while shares of graphics chipmaker Nvidia set a fresh intraday record of $432.89. A total number of 1.31 million options related to $Apple(AAPL)$ stock was traded, of which call options accounted for 65%. Shares rose as much as 8.18% to $9.79. NIO's second-half electric vehicle delivery outlook is bright due to the company's plan to launch three new models, CGS-CIMB analyst Ray Kwok said in a note earlier in the week. The analyst estimated that NIO's EV shipments will grow by 90% on year in the third quarter to 60,000 units, and 75% on year to 70,000 units in the fourth quarter amid new model launches. A particularly high trading volume was seen for the $10 strike call options expiring June 16, with a total number of 59,305 option contracts trading on Thursday.
