Not so tough, this fall Meta is releasing their first new consumer grade headset in three years. This is the one most Meta customers have been waiting to upgrade to. As new ones come into the market old ones will most likely be given away to friends, family and new customers on eBay. It’s a typical upgrade cycle and Unity is caught in the middle… Supporting most applications that will run on the Quest 3 and partnering with Apple to support old and new applications that will run on their Spatial Computers. Thanks to Apple the era of big 3D data and business applications is upon us, yet Meta and many others are prepared to support 3D movies, concerts, live entertainment, comedy, movies and experiences. Most of supported by Unity because they’re the picks and shovels supplier.
