Do you know why did Mos take on an additional $700 million of debt?. Just so they could pay it out in bigger dividends? Wouldn't it have been better to reduce dividend and avoid costly interest bearing loan? Bigger dividend hasn't done much for stock..
MOS, NTR, EMN and CF are all way down from a year ago. This is a cyclical industry dependent on numerous factors. if you are under water on your investment it may be smart to buy more and hedge to lower your breakeven.
If the game industry does not advance, it will retreat. I hope that MOS can learn more from the experience of its predecessors.
IPI is slaughtering MOS on this sector rally but it is more a pure potash play and higher production costs. Whats going on?
