Article is definatly not analytical enough.. there are certainly 'hidden' costs to green energy which are not discussed publicly. A proper analyses is in order for an 'individual' solution to New Zealands energy needs. A push by Blackrock to promote 'clean energy' will realistically see long term dependency on an Industy with hidden unsustainable production costs and long term environmental issues in regard to unrecylable waste and pollutants such as highly toxic resin binders used in wind wind turbine props. Our first solar panels are already coming to their end of life. It will be a continuing problem. The 100% clean burning waste incinerator atmercer was quashed by vested interests and the reality of nuclear potential is being sidelined by existing interests hlo ally.  Hiw do you know if this is true or not jntill you look for yourself. Soil, food, health, education and energy should not be controlled by industry. These are of the peoples interest.and
