$8VI Holdings Ltd(8VI.AU)$ and their Parent @8IH company has been getting alot of negative news lately. Being a shareholder of both I never thought much about the negative press, and told myself it was just disgruntled people voicing their views.
However, I discovered how wrong iwas a few weeks back when i had an issue with them about their infinite wealth course. The management team forced everyone to choose between 2 options - and when one option was fully booked, told the rest of us we had nonchoice but to accept option 2 which had nothing to do with value investing.
What i disliked was that they came onto the session and told everyone that we had signed a contract when we registered for the course, which had a validity of one year. Back then when i signed up during the covid period, there was still alot of uncertainty and the management assured us not to worry and they would keep their end of the promise. While i understand the decisions they made were due to cost constraints on their end, the way they handled the issue was very unprofessional.
If you are a student of theirs you should know. Just look at how they hndled the porting tp the new app. No clear communication, no support, no proper explanation on what happened to the courses (due to course name changes)...etc etc. not what you would expect of a public listed company.
All these issues can also be seen as their top speakers leave, no one picks up the phone when you call their customer support in malaysia, their share price drop tono value liao. And they tell you to lodge a ticket, and then later claim there is no reply after 3 weeks, because they are swamped and have 300-500 tickets daily to resolve.[Glance]
so, anyone who reads this post. Please stay away. Do not think about signing up for their courses anytime soon.

This company is going deep down. Just sell whatever you have. Management seem not bother the company performance and members at all..
