ASML: A Long Way to Go!

From ASML pr this morning-

These export control measures will likely have an impact on the regional split of our systems sales in the medium to long term. However, we do not expect these measures to have a material impact on our financial outlook for 2023 and for our longer-term scenarios for 2025 and 2030, as communicated during our Investor Day in November 2022.

These days the great technology hype is AI. However the brightest 💡💡 are in the far east. Once they start using AI to print chips, goodbye ASML. AI print chip, and you see a chip printed before your eyes.

What’s more, sanction aganist its biggest market is not wise. not using your comparative advantage is not capitalist economy. chip Sanction will back fire big time on all western chip companies. China will continue make chips and provide a cheap source of goods to much of the world. Just western chips not in the supply chain.

Bad enough we get crushed for our own incompetence. The best way is win-win cooperation.

Be Cautious about $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$ now.
