What's the Future of Crypto?
Two recent reports provide interesting insights into the future of crypto. $Marathon Digital Holdings Inc(MARA)$
1) A recent Coinbase study shows "an impressive 38% of younger Americans now believe crypto and blockchain technology can provide significant economic opportunities not commonly found in the traditional finance sector." It reports 31% of younger people now own cryptocurrency.
And 2) "Elon Musk Unveils Plan to Turn X Into 'Powerful' Financial Platform - 'You Won't Need a Bank Account'. This platform will roll out before the end of 2024, and you can bet it will be everything crypto. It was Musk and David Sacks who wrote the PayPal roadmap back in 2000 and according to Musk, when Ebay acquired PayPal back in October 2002, they never implemented "a bunch of key features" in the original roadmap. Musk will provide the complete package. It's reported that 'X' is in the process of securing money transmission licenses across the U.S. now. Is Musk really going to take on the entire financial system with X? His ambition is mind-blowing, but it is hard to bet against his genius.
The years ahead will be transformative.
