Accept it bears. Sam Altman is NOT going back to OpenAI regardless of what the remaining employees bargain for. I am quite sure that Satya covered his bases when he hired both Altman and Brockman. The lawyers at MSFT were also consulted and everything you can imagine was covered in an Employment Agreement. MSFT would not make a "sloppy" talent acquisition of this magnitude.
Altman and Brockman will remain with MSFT. The remaining employees at OpenAI will be jumping ship for the next month and that company will become a shell of what it was. The Board of Directors will likely be sued. MSFT has basically acquired OpenAI by proxy..........brilliant.
Till now OpenAI was capped to profit. Now all of OpenAI is going to work for Microsoft where there in no cap on profit. Soon to hit 500, as open AI + new chips can scale them to new levels.
