Not only do I think INTC $Intel(INTC)$ could get lifted by the general semiconductor hype, but it's actually doing some pretty impressive stuff itself.
Most recently, it's reportedly accelerating its efforts to overcome the limitations of ARM $ARM Holdings Ltd(ARM)$ CPUs, following Apple's example of using ARM chips.
Also seems to be making a play at the massive healthcare market. At the Healthcare+ EXPO 2023, Intel unveiled AI implementations designed to enhance healthcare service like an ambulance network system for real-time patient-data sharing, a telemedicine system for global healthcare discussion, and an AI imaging system that swiftly detects brain conditions from CT scans and MRIs within 30 seconds, boasting an impressive 95% accuracy rate with FDA approval.
