$Walt Disney(DIS)$ Another debacle for Dismal Disney: The computers at Disneyland went down. So everyone with Genie+ and Lightning Lane got skrewed. 2.5 hour wait in line to straighten out at customer services. Still a mess because no way they could retrieve the information because computers never came back up. So if you paid a premium and had reservations for rides at 10AM, 2PM and 5PM, you were out of luck. Wow!

This could never happen at Universal because they dont have this bizarrely complicated reservation system there. If you get fastpass with Universal, they give out a card that allows you to skip the line. If computers went down, you'd still have the card as proof you have fastpass and be fine for the day.

The cash grab that is Genie+ and Lightning Lane have been a curse on Disney. It has ruined the Disney experience while stealing even more money out of the pockets of park goers.
