Judging by the noise $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ is making across the socials and in the news, it's easy to see it as the potential new $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ with fanboys leading the charge. as much as one hates the chipmaker for having such expensive chips.... the shortage 😕 is reality and the future will likely repeat itself. I'm a hater 🤬 whom knows I'll miss the "to the moon" if I don't buy in now. 😭 Have to have some skin in the game if you want to come out a winner. 🏆

🎁What the Tigers Say | NVIDIA earnings are the new FOMC?

@TigerClub
Nvidia had only seen a downside surprise in earnings vs. expectations 3 times in the last 10 years. With Nvidia’s total revenue up 265% YoY, many investors are concerned the company may not be able to keep this pace of growth up forever. CEO Jensen Huang addressed those fears, saying, “Fundamentally, the conditions are excellent for continued growth in 2025 and beyond.” The market remains optimistic overall. We’ll have to wait and see if bears take another shot tomorrow or if bulls use this momentum to push to new highs. Can $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ hit $800 this week? Below are some insights from Tiger @PoorBoyLeon, @ZEROHERO and @Optionspuppy. Which opinions do you agree with? 🎁Special Notes: Whoever showed up on the” What the Tigers Say” column will receive 100 Tiger Coins and an exclusive interview invitation to honor your contribution. Click titles to read the full analysis: 1. @PoorBoyLeon: NVDA is a long term hold for me Key Points: - Still increasing demand for AI chips, gpu for gaming and datacenter which nivida practically has a stronghold. As seen in report YoY, QoQ.(bullish) -NVIDIA will continue to optimise cost as they already have the foundation, as for competitors they will have huge capex to research and produce. (bullish) - Although the high stock price, its still cheap compared to other chip companies at little over 30 PE. (bullish) - Almost every sectors (entertainment, healthcare, advertising, content creators, ecommerce etc) using generative AI and generating strong returns. (bullish) - Many big companies (META, ADOBE, SNOWFLAKE) require NVIDIAs chip for generative AI. (bullish) - Almost all EV companies using AI are working with NVIDIA (bullish) - Google making an AI chip that would require less computing power meaning less demand for NVIDIA chips (bear - have to track the progress) - Softbank seeking 100b to compete with NVIDIA (neutral, softbank, probably gonna lose 60-70% of their investment after ipo) Earnings call guidance was good with good continued growth with slight margin compression but i think its nothing too worrying. Although my target is $1200, I feel NVDA will be ranged bound 600+_700+ for awhile, earn some extra with strangles. Just my opinion. $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ 2. @ZEROHERO: NVDA Soon To The Moon? 🚀 Key Points: The one who sells chips Shares of Nvidia are up 6% to $718.00 in after-hours trading Wednesday. Nvidia stock is up 40.25% year-to-date, outperforming major ETFs such as the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust and Invesco QQQ Trust, and the iShares Semiconductor ETF. This follows a 240% surge in 2023. After reaching an all-time high of $746.11 on Feb. 12 and becoming the fourth-most valued global company, the stock has pulled back due to earnings concerns, slipping to the 6th position in terms of market cap. ⚠️ Trading tips: looking at NVDA calls above 746.11 to breakout from all time high on Thursday. Will be ideal to enter during profit taking at open before the push to the upside. Job report, home sales figures and many Fed speakers will affect price action as well. 3. @Optionspuppy: Nvidia earnings and factors that might after otter chip makers like arm Key Points: Impact on Chip Stocks: - Following NVIDIA's earnings beat, chip stocks like SMCI, AMD, and ARM experienced a rise in the extended market. - This demonstrates the significant influence NVIDIA's performance has on the broader semiconductor sector. 📈💻 Factors Influencing Other Chip Stocks: - Competitive Landscape: The competitive positioning of chip companies relative to NVIDIA can affect their stock performance. - Product Portfolio: The strength and diversity of a company's product portfolio can influence its ability to capitalize on market opportunities. - Financial Health: Factors such as debt levels, cash reserves, and profitability metrics can impact investor confidence and stock performance. - Industry Trends: Trends such as the adoption of artificial intelligence, gaming, and data center technologies can drive demand for semiconductor products, impacting stock prices. 🔄📊 Questions for you: NVIDIA earnings are the new FOMC?
