Musk, Trump, Money: Love-Hate Dynamics?

What will happen if president needs money?

Seek to cozy up to billionaires!

Trump team has only half the cash of the Biden team?

Trump and his team are actively seeking more major donors to bolster their financial strength in the upcoming election against President Biden.

According to information disclosed by both the Trump and Biden campaign teams, as of February,

Trump's team had about $30 million in cash on hand,
while Biden's campaign had about $56 million in cash as of the end of January.

Will billionaire Elon Musk help Trump turn the tide?

Former President Donald Trump met with one of the world's richest individuals, Elon Musk, and several other wealthy Republican donors in Florida to raise campaign funds.

According to Forbes, Musk's net worth is around $200 billion.

If Musk fully supports Trump, he could potentially single-handedly reverse Biden and his allies' significant financial advantage.

Love-hate relationship between Musk and Trump: Enemy - Reconciliation - Preference

  • In 2017, Trump decided to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, prompting the billionaire to resign from two White House business advisory councils.

  • In the summer of 2022, in the months leading up to the midterm elections, the two exchanged insults.

  • However, Musk restored the account in November, 2022, after he took control of Twitter and four days after Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential race.

  • In 2024, he urged his over 100 million followers on X to vote for Republican candidates in Congress. He criticized the record-high influx of immigrants into the United States during Biden's tenure.

If he does indeed support Trump, his views on immigration will be a significant motivator.
