$SIGA Technologies Inc.(SIGA)$ shares went up 8.3% to $5.76 in post-market trading on 12 Mar (Tuesday( after it reported profit in its Q4 earnings on a surge in revenue and a 60 cents special cash dividend was announced. SIGA reported a net profit of $72.3 million, or $1.01 a share, compared with a loss of $800,000, or 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Product revenue surged to $115.7 million from $5.1 million a year ago, taking total revenue to $116.5 million from $11.4 million. If we go back to how the share price was trading two years ago, this is where we saw almost the same price level, and we saw a good price upside to more than $20 dollars in June-July 2022. If we go back to May 2022 earnings on 02 May 2022, we could see that that was a positive EPS recorded as well, there was the time we saw SIGA stock price on the high. So could we be seeing another Gap Up or surge this time? SIGA (SIGA) MACD Trying To Push Higher If we look at how SIGA have been trading, it look like it is trying to break higher in MACD, with Bull power forming along the way. I am expecting the positive profit and cash dividend to help push SIGA stock price higher today. Next we will need to see how traders and investors are feeling about SIGA. SIGA On Relative Strength Index (RSI) Looks like traders and investors might be holding wait and see attitude on SIGA, but I would expect some buying and LONG sentiment coming. Low Post Market Volume After Earnings We are not seeing a significant volume in after hours trading after SIGA posted its earnings, this is something I will be looking out for. Will monitor the price action and see how things goes. Summary SIGA was a stock that I have bough and earned a pretty good profit in 2022, but it has since went to around 5ish level. With the new profit and significant earnings, will SIGA continue to do well and go back to its 2022 level? I will be monitoring the price action closely as I believe there is a potential trade here.
