With half the usual shares circulating, it's much easier to pump up. Short sellers are dwindling.
Before the Trump Media and Technology Group struck a deal with the SPAC DWAC, some investors voluntarily bailed out, taking a whopping 75% hit. They cashed out nearly 5000 shares of DWAC at $10.87 per share before shareholders voted to greenlight the Trump Media SPAC deal.
Since announcing its alliance with Trump Media back in October 2021, DWAC's stock price has never dipped below redemption value.
