Let's wait for earnings they better be great, AMD is going from 8 high to 12 high HBM3E stacks in the MI388X. A twelve-high stack of HBM3E is 36GB and provides a maximum bandwidth of 1,280GB/s. Eight of those stacks is a 288GB total. The bandwidth and capacity are all up by 50% compared to 8-stack HBM3, Samsung said.
