Downer EDI (ASX:DOW) wins $320M road maintenance contract in Victoria
Downer EDI secured a $320 million road maintenance contract from Victoria's Department of Transport and Planning effective July.
The initial four-year term may be extended for two additional two-year periods.
The contract covers routine and planned maintenance, inspections, hazard rectification, and emergency responses for over 1,600 lane kilometres of road and 1,900 structures in Melbourne's western metropolitan region.
The deal reinforces Downer's sector leadership and strengthens its long-standing partnership with Victoria's Department of Transport and Planning, which spans over six years.
