10 April 2024: There is hope for Huya if ....

The collaboration of netease and blizzard to bring back games developed by Blizzard is deemed positive. Will Huya's sizeable monthly active users be able to benefit from this? Possible? Still Huya has to accelerate its transformation on product range & new revenue streams #huya

Huya has to break back above 5 USD strongly to retest 2023 high of 6.49 USD. The momentum has to be built on in conjunction with Chinese tech stocks' overall recovery momentum.

Bilibili has experienced strength these few days, which is good for overall streaming and short video platform. This should benefit Huya too. If ever there is any merger plan between these two platforms, there might be further synergies. The issue naturally is pricing and Tencent would not likely accede it's control if it can't have a decent deal with Bilibili. From what I recalled, tencent has around 10 plus percent stake in Bilibili.

I do believe there is more room for Huya to go up but again, it is conditional upon:

(I) General us market movement;

(Ii) General Chinese tech stocks movement;

(Iii) Most importantly on Huya's management to squeeze out more revenue streams and pivot or undergo a successful business transformation;

(Iv) Tencent to liquidate douyu;

(V) Any potential corporate actions on the end of Huya.
