I opened $NIO 20240517 4.0 PUT$  ,NIO: sold new cash secured put on NIO at $4. Contract expires in 36 days on 17th May along with monthly expirations. Premium collection is 4.5% during this period. NIO seems to find its temporary support and setting the strike at about 10% lower for margin of safety. Nevertheless if NIO breaks down the $4 support then I’ll likely get assigned and that will lower down my holding average from current price.

if NIO breaks the 4 support and you get assigned that could lower your average cost
