I think abandonment of US Government debt as a viable investment is coming sooner than anyone expects and the yield goes to 15% in an optimistic scenario, 25% most likely and 33% pessimistic scenario. Election will cause a new rift in American politics. Too much government paper cause crowding out obviously worldwide economic collapse. chaos. The US is running out of policy options not just fiscally but monetarily. The best we can hope for is world war.There is no longer a safe haven on this planet except maybe Brazil or Argentina. And given history, that's quite ironic.
