In terms of MU $Micron Technology(MU)$ , I'm much heavier in options and LEAPS than my LT common shares, but I have seen both work out well over time.
The stock is a total widow-maker and the cycles can be very rough. We've both been here long enough to have seen many people broken by MU... Problem is most can't hold on after living through the peak to trough - let alone think of doing it again.
You need a very strong stomach in addition to some brains, or you'll likely get burned.
