There has been a forever correct way in the investment industry: investment is not how to time the market but how much time you put in the market. If you are an investor instead of a speculator, then you should buy or sell based on your research on the fundamentals, and these years, geographical risks specifically. I have been selling those stocks which I bought during the dips now because of uncertainty in the FED policies, not because it's gonna May of the year. However if changes happen to make the opportunity surface for some particular stocks, it'll be worth buying in while others are selling.
