stagflation

In economics, stagflation or recession-inflation is a situation in which the inflation rate is high or increasing, the economic growth rate slows, and unemployment remains steadily high. It presents a dilemma for economic policy, since actions intended to lower inflation may exacerbate unemployment. (source Wikipedia)

us gdp declined more than expected, showing that the economy cannot withstand more than a year of high interest rate environment. us economic war against china slowed china's gdp to 5% but the world's economy is interconnected. what goes around comes around. wars around the world going on because of an old us president at the helm. these wars are disrupting supply chains as shipping routes have to avoid middle east area. these stokes the fire of inflation.

$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$  is the etf that tracks spx. it appears from the pnf to be in some form of consolidation mode after a big run up.$SPDR DJIA ETF(DIA)$ and $Invesco QQQ Trust-ETF(QQQ)$  are also making the same consolidation pattern. dia is the etf that tracks the dow jones industrial average large capitalisation companies. qqq is the etf that tracks the nasdaq whose constituents are tech companies. $US2Y(US2Y.BOND)$ is very sensitive to interest rate related news. it dipped on hopes the fed will cut rates as the us economic data doesn't look good.

dia support is at 328, spx at 424, qqq at 340.

do apply automatic investment system where you add shares at each 10% drop or at support zones if you know technical analysis. this way you conserve your capital while the stock is strongly downtrending. do take profit at 10% intervals or at resistance zones if you know technical analysis. this way you have capital to buy the dip. only applies to stocks in an index or warren buffett would approve. bon courage.
