GOOG: What's Going on Next?

$Alphabet(GOOG)$ /Waymo side-bet Ouster (OUST) will release quarterly earnings on May 9th. Ouster's LiDAR electro-optics sensors were recently featured on $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ robots by the NVIDIA CEO. LiDAR works as the Robot Eyes for Autonomy platforms.

Amazon also uses Ouster LiDAR in their Amazon Robotics applications, such as the Proteus hauler robot, and their new Agility Robotics model. Compared to many other LiDAR companies that solely focused on the Auto Industry, Ouster is the best positioned for the AI Autonomy expansion with robotized platforms and industrial applications that NVIDIA and others are gearing up for.

What does that have to do with Waymo? The prototype Robotaxi recently arrived on a flatbed in San Fran, destined for a particular integration facility. It's not officially-official yet, but Ouster is the word-on-the-street LiDAR and integration partner for the Waymo Robotaxi that will beat Tesla in both timeline to full operation, and will handily beat Tesla with this electro-optical Digital LiDAR tech from Ouster, compared to Elon Musk's cheap and old-tech Optical Sensor package for Tesla vehicles.

Most engineers and scientists have forecast that Tesla cannot achieve fully autonomous (and no-driver aboard) capability unless Elon gives in and adopts LiDAR technology over his now-outdated sensors.

Simply put, Google's Waymo is now "in the driver's seat" for Robotaxis. WIN-WIN COOPERATION!![Happy][Happy][Happy]
