AMD: What's Going on Next?

Either $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ is getting complacent or being cheap.... how else can you explain their next client product being a node behind Intel.

Intel's Lunar Lake will either use TSMC N3B, or their own Intel 20A.

Both are either 3nm class or 2nm class nodes.

AMD's next client product will use TSMC N4 (4nm node).  [Happy][Happy][Happy]

The former Intel CEO, yes that long ago, prepaid TSMC for having 3nm availalbe.

At that time it was not clear if Intel's new nodes would be ready.

They are ready, but may not able to ramp up to the volumes needed just yet.

Either way, Intel is going to eat AMD's lunch here.

And even Qualcomm's PC chips look great...despite also being on 4nm $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$

AMD and $Intel(INTC)$ have a new competitor, watch out.
