$NextEra Energy Partners LP(NEP)$

So why did I buy NEP, because they announced that they may not be able to increase their dividend recently because of the current interest rate environment. The stock dived on this news, but was it really bad news?

Well their dividend yield (at close today) is 10.53%, not too shabby. They have a very solid history of consistantly paying and raising dividends, an guess what? Even though their announcement indicated they may not be able to raise the dividend this year, they just have. A classic example of market overreaction. I'm happy to keep buying this stock at current levels, banking the cold hard cash from dividends and watching as people get with the program and realise it's cheap cheap cheap.

Disclosure: it's my second biggest holding, just over 4% of my portfolio @Hen Solo @xXxZealandxXx @Barcode @TigerPicks @Value_investing @SPACE ROCKET @Daily_Discussion @Tui Jude

Yes! Market tends to over react unnecessarily. I'd see those as entry opportunities if I believe in the fundamentals of the company 🥰 All the best! 😉
