Replying to @SPACE ROCKET:my portfolio was in red in 2023 cause I bought a number of tech stocks in 2022. couldn't hold my losses I sold them in early 2024 and didn't expect them to grow exponentially. my best buy was investing in gold etf early this year and gaining >10% till date... other good buys are investing in funds//@SPACE ROCKET:My portfolio took a sudden nosedive in Jan 2024 when my crypto stocks nosedived after the approval of Spot Bitcoin ETFs. My greatest regret was not taking profits in these stocks when I could. I went on a roller coaster up and down 5times in the first few mths of 2024. Overall, the first half of my investment journey is not as fantastic as others but not too bad, I'd say ❤️🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🩷

Moral of the story is, take profits while you guys can. AND DON'T GET CAUGHT.

Bitcoin is still trading sideways. No reason for cryptp stocks to be flying anywhere given recent reports on how the daily revenue for miners stands at $35 million, down 55% from the peak of $78 million in March. So, no need to FOMO and jump in on these yet. If Bitcoin slides below it's strong support at $64-$65,000, it could retrace heavily down to $57,000, bringing all the crypto stocks down along with it. And right now, fears of recession and overbought situation across all stocks are looming.
