Well, recapping is always a painful experience for me. Two fundamental questions always come to mind. First, what was I thinking and second, I wish I'd brought more. Let's deep dive on each...

WHAT WAS I THINKING

At the beginning of last year I took a small position in 3 Australian penny stocks. $MURRAY COD AUSTRALIA LTD(MCA.AU)$ $ELECTRO OPTIC SYSTEMS HOLDIN(EOS.AU)$  and $HighCom Ltd(HCL.AU)$ The first is a fish farming company that raises processes and sells fish. It's a fantastic, sustainable product and I love investing in primary industries. Yet, I always get burned in the primary industries. Down 28%, what was I thinking.

Second, EOS, this one did well initially, then it didn't so I cut my losses to my detriment as it turned out. It makes stuff that shoots down drones. After I sold, it tripped in price... bugger. I'm sure I'm not the only investor that's experienced this... so frustrating.

Third is highcom, currently down 40%, it makes ballistic vests and helmets that are world beating. But sadly while it went crazy for a while, the CEO was suddenly sacked. Great contracts that were delivered on suddenly turned out to be not so good, too much discounting to secure the contracts I assume. But I still own it, amazing products and new management. So not something I will sell.

Mite I just point out, these purchases were all in companies that were not profitable, but promising. I do allocate up to 5% of my total portfolio to high risk, and to be fair, another company I invested in was $DRONESHIELD LTD(DRO.AU)$ Which is up over 100%. So overall I am in the green, just. But I spent so much time researching all these. So it's not a win.

Overall my portfolio is up 26% annualised over the last 6 months. And my plays to bet on a potential winner are seriously lacking. So what was I thinking? I don't think I was thinking. Early adoption can clearly pay off if you get it right, but I bet on four stocks, three lost, one is a big winner, but so much effort to basically break even. I'm thinking, time to reevaluate my thinking.

I WISH I BROUGHT MORE

Yep so if you have read my posts for a bit $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$. Yes I know what you are thinking, $5 stock, not making a profit yet... rocket science. Andy, you are crazy. Nope, first company ever to get to 50 rocket launches faster than anyone ever, failure rates setting new standards in the space race, a company that owns the critical components required by the space industry to build satellites. Number 2, behind spacex and credibility going thru the roof.

Will it drop back below $5, probably, it's rocket science after all. Do I regret not buying more when it went to $3.55? Obviously yes. Will I regret not buying more options tomorrow, no. Not tomorrow, but I am picking that in addition to the $75 odd million contract confirmed last week, new announcements will follow in the next few months worth 10x combined @TigerPM @Daily_Discussion @TigerWire @TigerStars @TigerPicks @TigerClub

Thanks for sharing. We all love the underdog, even when it's detrimental to our capital and mental health.

Well, hindsight is always 20/20. It's frustrating to look back and question our decisions.
