hard be positive on BS for NIO
I wonder what is the cost of battery swap stations? how much Nio charges for swap. What percentage of customer pay for battery swapping. Does Nio provide data for bs revenues breakdown. Whether it is 46m or 70k per day if Nio owners are getting it free from Nio it is not $$. Of the 300,000 cars Nio sold how many do you think pay for swapping.
It is hard for me to be positive on BS for NIO. After 10 years apart from Nio doesn’t seem the major domestic players like BYD $Boyd Gaming(BYD)$ , Geely $GEELY AUTO(00175)$ Volvo $Volvo AB(VLVLY)$ , SAIC $Saic Motor Corporation Limited(600104)$ MG . following. Nio has less than 1% ev market. Maybe they are building their dream more likely only blowing their own trumpet. If Tesla was to do BS they can execute much faster. How many swap station NIO build in China. Compare to How many supercharges Tesla put in at the same time. Only the tiny ev makers may join any major players will be able to do it if they choose so. I don’t believe battery swap technology is that high tech or offer much value.
everyone owns EV no battery swap here. Nio has show rooms but I haven’t see much NIO on the road. Volvo Tesla $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and Kia $Kia Motors Corp.(KIMTF)$ plenty.
