From 1 January to 23 May, the trio booked a combined net institutional inflow (NII) of $500m, averaging 15.6% total returns.

2.In May, the three banks DBS, UOB, and OCBC all posted Q1 outperformanced and lifted optimism for 2024 profits.

• OCBC’s net gain rose 5 per cent to a quarterly high of S$1.98 billion, surpassing the S$1.85 billion consensus forecast in a Bloomberg survey of three analysts.
