Potential influence of Trump winning the election!

After the news of Trump assassination were released, numerous stocks such as crypto stocks, gun stocks and shares of other meme companies rallied as it boosted expectations he would win the November election. Notably, one of the most popular meme stocks like $Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.(FFIE)$  experienced a huge surge of more than 22% even though its cash balance is running low and it might be the next potential EV company to bite the dust.

Long-dated U.S. bond yields rose on expectations that Trump policies would drive up government debt and stoke inflation. U.S. voters view Trump as the better candidate for the economy, even as Biden's White House seeks to benefit from a solid economy with inflation slowing and low unemployment.

Another important consideration is that a second Trump presidency could potentially fuel trade tensions between Beijing and the United States. One of the sectors that will likely by highly hit is the China EV sector. To add on, the rise of various EV companies has resulted in price war to fight for larger market share as the competition in the EV market has intensified as numerous traditional car markers (Mercedes-Benz, BMW etc) are also investing and building more hybrid EV units. $Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$

Tariffs have become a flashpoint in the 2024 presidential campaign as candidate Trump has proposed a new 10 percent universal tariff on all imports and a 60 percent tariff on all imports from China, as well as potentially higher tariffs on EVs from China or across the board. This is definitely not a good news for shareholders of China EVs. $NIO Inc.(NIO)$  $Li Auto(LI)$  $XPeng Inc.(XPEV)$
