Amazon’s Prime Day sales rose almost 12% in the first seven hours of the event compared with the same period last year, according to Momentum Commerce, which manages 50 brands in a variety of product categories.

$Shopify(SHOP)$ is expected to see "solid" revenue growth in the coming years amid steady share gains in the e-commerce industry and disciplined expense spending, BofA Securities said Tuesday.
The firm upgraded its rating on the Shopify stock to buy from neutral and raised its price objective to $82 from $78. The company's US-listed shares were up 9% in Tuesday trade.
