$GameStop(GME)$ For anyone hoping that GME spends a good portion of the $4.1B gift they received from their cult for an acquisition, what company wouldn’t ask for far more than it’s worth when knowing how GME got its cash? And if they choose to just buy enough shares for controlling interest in a public company, the price would get too high by the time they were done. Either way, they lose. That’s why I wouldn’t expect them to do anything but just earn 5% on their cash while rates are still high, at least until below 4% before looking for other options. That may take years.
