$Broadcom(AVGO)$ $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ AVGO silicon is more power efficient than NVDA. H100 takes 700+ watts of power AVGO 5nm XPU can do 600 watts and AVGO next generation 3nm XPU can do even less than that. The current fear is the sizes of these AI clusters are getting so big and consuming so much power their running out of data center space and power capacity to handle it. They need alternatives to power hungry nvda GPU’s and that’s where AVGO custom silicon is the solution everyone needs. Nvidia is currently facing overheating and excessive power consumption issues when running latest Samsung HBM3 stacks on their latest chip. AVGO doesn’t have none of these issues. Hence why AVGO continues to win their customers next generation chip contracts because they have IP that is almost impossible to compete with.
