$DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$

I’m buying at $32. Thats where the 200MA is.

DBS likely to announce good earnings with a dividend at $0.54

Outlook is murky with a possible recession on the horizon.

If we see big emergency rate cuts, that will eat into the Net Interest Margin.

If recession hits and the economy goes into the doldrums, the Non-Interest Income (ie. fees) will be hit.

If the economy is fine and we chug along, then earnings will continue to grow.

DBS CEO has previously said they are looking at ways to return excess capital to shareholders. We may see the dividend maintained that way even if earnings take a hit.
