Did you invest in speculative meme stocks??

One of the most volatile meme stocks $Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.(FFIE)$ is definitely not for the faint-hearted person. The price movement each week is too much to handle for most average investors.

The rise of various EV companies has resulted in price war to fight for larger market share $Li Auto(LI)$ $XPeng Inc.(XPEV)$ $NIO Inc.(NIO)$ $Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$ . Furthermore, the competition in the EV market has intensified as numerous traditional car markers (Mercedes-Benz, BMW etc) are also investing and building more EV units. To add on to the problem, its cash balance is low and it might be the next potential EV company to go bankrupt.

The outlook of EV industry seems challenging, with the development of various new disruptive technologies like hydrogen-based combustion engines etc that threaten to take away market share away from the EV players. During my recent trip to Japan, I managed to have a 1st hand experience with their Toyota Mirai (hydrogen-based cars) and various hydrogen fuel gas stations. So it's defintiely not a fantasy but a reality. However, which is a better option (EV vs hydrogen)? Personally, I'm more impressed with hydrogen cars, but only time will tell. What do you think?
