Yesterday, $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$ closed up 1.35%, reaching $460.63.
This year, Berkshire's market value has increased by $218 billion. Berkshire's market cap now stands at $992.9 billion, just a step away from the $1 trillion milestone.
Berkshire is poised to become the eighth U.S. company and the ninth globally to join the $1 trillion club.

Berkshire's strong performance is partly attributed to its investments in popular stock sectors. In the energy sector, Berkshire holds significant shares of $Occidental(OXY)$. In financial services, it owns substantial stakes in Chubb Insurance, American Express, Visa, Bank of America, and Citigroup.
Recently, Berkshire has reduced its holdings in Apple and Bank of America.
