$Apple(AAPL)$ AAPL does not have to produce stunning technology in order to be successful. Its user base is the common man and woman, and those users do not crave the latest bells and whistles, just enough to absorb easily, one product cycle at a time; enough to tell their friends about, without dwelling on it.

There is life to be lived! It IS a fine line: Too much new stuff might undermine brand loyalty, yet too little, perception of a dinosaur. As an analogy, you might recall, back in the day, VCRs that could be programmed to record a dozen programs over a three-week period. That became a joke because nobody could figure it out, or even cared. All they wanted was for the 12:00 display clock to stop flashing.

Bottom line, Have faith Apple understands consumers!
