$Micron Technology(MU)$ MU is a cyclical stock.

It's best to get in when no one wants it, and get out when it pops 100%, like it did this year. There are simply too many competitors in the DRAM / NAND industry for MU to command big premium. Good for consumers, not great as a long-term holding. More of a yearly trade.

Maybe they command more of a premium if HBM really takes off and competitors struggle to produce the same volume, but big margins always see competitors swoop in to claim market share. Eventually there's overproduction and cuts, rinse and repeat.
