Are you a friend of hers in the community? @koolgal She not only invests in US stocks, but is also a long-term investor in Singapore stocks, ETFs, and SREITs. Investors interested in related markets are welcome to follow her. With the recent all time high of $Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$ , Koolgal also got the ideal return as she wished. The following is her latest winning trades on $STI ETF(ES3.SI)$ and $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$. Click to quickly view the following pictures. She explained in her My Rewarding Investing Journey With Tiger After 1500 Days! article: The other ETF in my core portfolio is $STI ETF(ES3.SI)$ . This represents 30 of Singapore's best blue chips stocks in just 1 trade. They include the 3 Big Singapore banks $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$ , $ocbc bank(O39.SI)$ and $UOB(U11.SI)$ as well as $Singtel(Z74.SI)$ , $Capitaland Commercial TR(CPITF)$ , Singapore Airlines$SIA(C6L.SI)$ ,and many more. $STI ETF(ES3.SI)$ F is the oldest Singapore ETF with Assets Under Management of SGD 1.577 billion. It has recently reached its 52 week high of SGD 3.65. Dividends are paid twice a year. The current dividend yield is 4.75%. I am currently up 25% on STI ETF which is pretty good compared to $SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF(SPLG)$ . These are just 2 of my favourite ETFs in my core portfolio which I have been dollar cost averaging over the 4 year period. I have not sold a single unit of these 2 ETFs during this time as I believe in holding them long term. I must confess that in the 4 year period there have been peaks and troughs, just like a roller coaster. There was the Covid Pandemic which disrupted our lives as well as the markets. But through it all, I have held on tight to my core portfolio, never giving up, always believing that in the long term, the stock markets will rise. There will be challenges ahead but with the magic of compounding and lots of patience, I know that I will be rewarded handsomely with outsized gains in the future. In the meantime, I also receive dividends which are a great source of passive income while waiting for capital growth. As the late great Charlie Munger likes to say "The Big Money is not in the Buying and Selling but in the Waiting".
