Another week of turbulence in the stock market.[噴血]

What did you do when the market opens?[疑問]

Were you staring at the screen praying everything to be back up again? [暈]

For me, I decided not to focus too much on the market and watched a movie instead yesterday. The movie I watched is none other than Joker. [齜牙]

Isolated, bullied and disregarded by society, Arthur Fleck begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.

Now, what can we learn from a mad criminal like him and apply in the stock market?[驚嚇]

Here are my thoughts[冷漠] :

• No Matter The Situation, Always Wear A Smile[微笑]

If your mentality is pessimistic, even if you are proven correct, it will still be an incredibly burdensome journey. [黑眼圈]

Seeing yourself at a loss can easily affect your emotions, but do remember that your investments in the stock market is not everything in your life. [可愛]

Does your family invest in the stock market too? If they don't, you being sad all the time not only affect your own life, but also those who care for you.[可憐] If you can't smile even after reading this, maybe you need a little change in your portfolio. What is inside your portfolio that you do not believe has good fundamentals or a good prospective growth? [白眼]

Maybe you did not know your true risk tolerance when everything was rising during the bull market and that stock was actually too high risk for your appetite. Maybe it's time to cut the losses and transfer the money to a more stable value stock/ETF. Nothing wrong with reallocating your assets.[你懂的]

• Walk Your Own Path

There will always be people stopping you, blocking your way, telling you that you are wrong.[打臉] Do you still remember who you are before what the world told you who you should be?[回頭]

You might have invested in different stocks from your friends.[汗顏] Your friends or somebody else might be telling you what you invested in is a bad choice or giving you advise on what you should invest.[警告]

Well, you don't have to listen to them because nobody knows 100% if a stock is going to rise or fall.[開心]

It is better to believe in your own research and idea that you have for a certain stock. Be it a right choice or a wrong choice, at the end you will be able to hold it better because you believe in it and many times a good stock will rise over time. [哇塞]

Be patient, the rewards will come and it will be very satisfying knowing that you hold on to a good stock at its worst regardless of others' opinions.[邪惡]

In conclusion:

Your investments shouldn't affect your emotions so much that it is affecting your life.[摳鼻]

It is easier to hold on to a high conviction stock that you have found yourself rather than copied from somebody else.[正經]

This movie casting Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker is worth a watch![捂嘴]
