$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Intel settled with AMD over 32 bit microcode almost a couple decades ago that make things look bleaky for Intel so Intel was calling it quit without sharheolders knowing about it.
If AMD takes Intel over , AMD can get rid of the BOD and sweep out deadwood.
Maybe Intel will sell x86 designs to Qualcomm so Qualcomm can act as second source of x86 in compliance with regulators . AMD can work with legacy Intel customers. no matter what.
AMD is giving up on gaming GPUs to focus more on AI chips which tells me obviously that AMD have to make choices on what chips to order from TSMC.
now with Intel Fabs in bag, AMD can make anything they want to.
