Yes, $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ valuation is high, currently trading at 86x its projected 2025 FCF, compared to peers like $Snowflake(SNOW)$ , which trades at 31x 2025 FCF -- despite both companies having similar growth profiles. However, Palantir’s premium is justified.
I believe this multiple expansion is driven by the inevitability that AI will disrupt the software industry, and only a select few companies will emerge as dominant players with significant pricing power. Palantir has demonstrated it will be one of those winners. While the full potential of AI remains unknown -- its impact on the enterprise space will be TRANSFORMATIVE.
