TSLA: BIG Move From 10/10

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you!

1.

Here are my thoughts on $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ from the 10/10 event 🧐

At the recent "We, Robot" event, Tesla presented an ambitious vision with the unveiling of a 20-person autonomous Art Deco bus and updates on the Cybercab and Optimus projects. However, the absence of detailed information, particularly regarding the transition to unsupervised FSD and the much-anticipated lower-cost vehicle model, left me wanting more. Despite the impressive ~70% run-up in Tesla's stock the past 6 months -- nothing about this event screamed MUST BUY THIS STOCK NOW.

Elon Musk highlighted the goal of achieving unsupervised FSD by the end of 2025 on several Tesla models in Texas and California, and the introduction of a production robotaxi by 2027. Yet, the absence of a clear business model for the robotaxi service, aside from suggesting consumers could buy a Cybercab for under $30,000, left investors questioning how Tesla would generate revenue from this venture. These lack of details on critical aspects like technical specifics, regulatory hurdles, and intervention efficacy data was always going to be my biggest fears on making this a 'sell the news event' -- and that's exactly what happened.

Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot, although impressive in its progress, is still very much in development. While the robot's capabilities are promising, especially for long-term applications, the lack of clarity on how it fits into Tesla's broader business strategy further added to the sense that the event was more about showcasing futuristic concepts than addressing immediate investor concerns.

The design of the Cybercab, with its skyward-opening doors and lack of traditional controls, was well-received, emphasizing Tesla's futuristic approach. However, the event, which largely focused on branding and vision, left many investors with unanswered questions about the company's near-term growth trajectory. The absence of substantive updates on Tesla’s software platforms, robotaxi plans, or low-cost vehicle production has led to concerns about stock volatility in the short term. Despite these concerns, the long-term outlook for Tesla remains impressive -- emphasizing its transformation into a transportation-as-a-service provider, rather than merely another auto manufacturer.
