The United States government gave TSMC 6 billion to help subsidize a 40 billion dollar foundry in Phoenix Arizona. TSMC is building more billion dollar plants in Japan and Germany too. Easy math. Billion dollars plants being constructed across the world, equal trillions upon trillions in future sales.
